So you’d better hope your peer-to-peer file-sharing broom’s not poking out from the closet when the feds stop by.
Another 477 file sharers were sued this past Wednesday for crimes against humanity. Further enforcing the idea that we all all not more than numbers to the RIAA, they have identified these 477 people only by their IP addresses.
“The latest filings brings the number of lawsuits filed by the recording industry to 2,454 since last summer. None of the cases has yet gone to trial, and 437 people so far have agreed to pay financial penalties of about $3,000 as settlements.”
