Seriously? No one's gonna leave me an angry comment over this one? I got a couple annoyed emails, but they went quite the spectacle I was hoping for. I guess I'll just have to try harder.

I was just writing an essay called Jesus 'Christ vs Superman' when I stumbled across this site. The essay is about the Superman Returns trailer.That Superman image is so relevant to what I wrote. read below.

"I guess the consequences of portraying Superman in a Christ like manner can only be discovered in the future. I imagine in the future fictional characters, such as Superman, clouding the original Jesus Christ, and in a desperate attempt to 're-resurrect' Jesus in a society of unbelievers, Jesus would then be portrayed in the light or/and likeness of Superman, perhaps to make him fashionable again. Such a move would reverse the roles of fact and fiction and leave confused consumers wondering which is history's original, by that time the lines would be so blurred the undiluted authentic will become untraceable."

The name says it all... (though Superman may be a more flashier version of what some might take as a symbol acceptable in this day in age so modernized vs. the really conservatives that will probably flame you for emblazoning the Superman insignia on Christ's chest.) To me he is super, and that all that matters.
